Then again, I’m not constantly imported videos into media browsers and I don’t know if I would notice it being a huge help if I were doing that task on a regular basis.

As nice as this app is, I thought $35 was a little much to pay for something like this. It is a one-time price, but historically, iFlicks has released major releases as paid updates.

iFlicks 3 is currently $34.99 in the Mac App Store.

The only thing I don’t really recommend is the price. It’s really a very impressive app and I can recommend it for its functionality. I really love how easy iFlicks makes this process and how good the product looks. Even though that small error happened, I was still able to drag and drop the files into iTunes and have no problems with them playing. I did have the option for files to automatically open import into iTunes turned on, but for some reason, they did not.

It ended up taking the 9 video files about 5 minutes and 30 seconds to finish processing. I used the preset that was meant for viewing videos in iTunes. You can change the preset you are using the export the videos out if you want. Handle all common video formats like HEVC (H.265), H.264 and DivX. iFlicks Alternative for Windows can convert videos and audios to import to iTunes and. Once I was happy with the metadata that was listed, I exported the files. By muxing tracks when possible iFlicks is blazing fast. With this Video Converter, you can not only convert M2TS to MKV.

I’ve been using iFlicks 3 to help me complete the information for several movie files I’ve had for a long time but never bothered to add them to my iTunes library. I did this so that when I exported the files out for iTunes, the metadata was present. I ended up searching for Home Alone’s information through the Internet ( ) and manually entering it into iFlicks. All the files, except one (Home Alone), were detected properly by iFlicks and labeled according to the app’s standards. I removed those files from iFlicks and worked with the remaining 9 files. The warning stated that something was corrupt with the files and they couldn’t be converted. After analyzing the files, iFlicks was only able to work with 9 of the files. I pulled them all into iFlicks for conversion. To test out the strength of iFlicks, I added several videos that I had stored on a media drive. It’s really intuitive and very easy to use. I really love the UI and the general layout of the app. Even if you end up having to fill in information by hand, it’s not nearly as torturous as iTunes used to be when you are using iFlicks’ interface. It was not a very user-friendly environment for that sort of task and iFlicks has already improved that process by leaps and bounds. Supports all common video formats like mkv, mp4, m4v, mov, avi, mpg and many many moreĪs I mentioned, I used to enter metadata by hand directly into iTunes.Encoding of Stereo and Surround Audio tracks.

I just wish there was a legal way to download these anime for offline learning rather than potentially using ‘not so ethical’ streaming sites filled with ads, online only and clunky to use.Īlso, I have no way to play blu-rays as I am digital only due to having a laptop with no physical drive, Switch for console and no media player. I also tried to join other services using a Japanese VPN and couldn’t get it to work via sign up or was blocked due to it.

I can manually add in the Japanese subtitles to these but this involves finding them, adding them per episode and adjusting the timing per episode which is a big time sync. I can only find Japanese audio on sites such as Crunchy Roll, Funimation, iTunes etc and not Japanese subtitles! I have even had a look at other ‘not so ethical’ ways of getting them but also can only find English subtitles. I can see there are some on Netflix HERE but I wanted some beginner anime such as Shirkuma Cafe, Non Non Biyori and also my favourite anime Sword Art Online. I have been looking for Anime with Japanese subtitles (A few specific ones really) but I am having a very hard time finding them.
